lake in the U.S. The Crater Lake is one of the record setting
attractions. Located in south-central Oregon, in the western United
States,Crater
Lake is famous for its deep blue color and water clarity. The dazzling
body of water is nearly 2,148-feet (655 m) deep.
The lake formed by the
collapse of the volcano Mount Mazama more than 7,700 years ago. The Lake
is also known for the “Old Man of the Lake”, a full-sized tree which is
now a stump that has been bobbing vertically in the lake for over a
century.
